Where there is a Demand there will be a Supply
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen ...
Hebrews 11:1 educates us on the unseen realms.
Indeed Faith creates the Space to receive.
For where there is a Demand the Lord will surely supply.
His name Jehovah Jireh makes it clear that He is the Lord who sees and supplies. The meaning of the name suggests that He doesn't simply supply, He SEES first and then He supplies.
First He sees the demand... and then He fills it with His supply.
This is how I understand it in layman's terms.
Hope begins the process of excavating a deep vacuum.
This vacuum deepens as we hold on to belief.
This vacuum grows with prayer and fasting.
It creates a deep hunger.
With a Great Pull.
In the meanwhile, Faith is stirred up!
Faith causes us to act as if the vacuum is already or soon to be filled!
All while the valiant Believer brandishes the power of the Tongue like a mighty weapon.
Speaking out the Promises of the Bible makes the vacuum seem FULL in our mind's eye.
Ahh! The evidence of things Unseen.
(*Care is maintained against the seed of doubt of fear. For they are the saboteurs that must be stoically evicted and denied entry during this delicate process.)
The Lord observes this Vacuum and how it Grows GREATLY.
For the emptier this vacuum ( preparation to receive ) is in the natural and the fuller it is in the Spirit ( The Word of God + action ), it gains strength.
This strength becomes the magnetic pull that the Lord finds irresistible.
He draws in to Fill it Generously with His Supply.
Further, if we will allow it, and if we reject the cap of limitation, He is allowed the space to EXCEED our Imaginations.
So you see it is Persistence that seals the deal.
Faith tilled with Endurance that stays the course till the very end ... is what draws the manifestation of every desire the Lord has placed on our heart.
Love,
