The Ecstacy of Loving God

Image
Journal entry - 25 May 2017 This morning in my 'Holy Hour' with the Lord ... I sat and waited upon him at 3 am , sang in tongues and soon found Him. :) But it was at around 4 or 5 am, that I noticed a special love began to wrap itself around me.... It was so beautiful .... that I am inspired to write about it in my journal entry this day.  I use the title 'The Ecstacy of Loving God' for this particular blog post as it is a commonly used term that describes the intimacy as well as the absolute pleasure and delight that is found in the Lord. The title is also that of a well known book that describes the mystical state of love that come in union with Christ. However, I use it not to refer to the book in particular but to share my personal thoughts on the sheer delight, yes the Ecstacy of Loving God! :) Lately, it feels as though I have plunged into colorful oceans. Day 2 - 7 Day Cleanse : Going Strong !

Image
26th June 2017 Day 2❤ Weight - 112 pounds Smoothies+Liquids+HotBroth+LightExercise+BibleStart&EndsDay  - So far So Great 😍  Early days, so no food cravings yet. But am enjoying the extra time I am having from not preparing meals .... Light workouts thus far but I will amp up the workouts tomorrow :) ..... Bible time is definitely better as I feel an urgency to plunge in more deeply in the Word . We're called to continually GROW and INCREASE. And that requires an Intention and Pursuit on our part. 👑   Verdict - Feeling peaceful and my mind is clearer :)  Also noticing there are distractions that try to steal my attention as I devote more time to the Word. It helps to set the mood by turning on instrumental music and even lighting a candle and shutting yourself away. Time with the scriptures seems more precious and sacred that way :)    TIP: Miso is a good broth to include in a liquid cleanse to satiate the need fo...

God turns away from unclean things

Image
For the Lord your God  walks in the midst of your camp,  to deliver you and give your enemies over to you;  therefore your camp shall be holy,  that He may see no unclean thing among you,  and turn away from you.  ~ Deuteronomy 23:14 This past month this scripture has been captivating me .... because it's such a Powerful Truth ❤.   The Lord walks amidst us. He is with us and wholly supports us! Praise God :) But when He sees unclean things He turns away... For He is Holy. He simply cannot remain close to anything that is unclean.  The analogy that comes to mind is that of oil and water.  They just don't mix, instead oil and water naturally resist and draw away from one another. I can just hear the protests of some who may contest this. While it is true that the Lord is immensely graceful, forgiving and Loving. He is also a wise Father who desires that we grow and mature to be all that we were ...
